Project meeting in Thessaloniki

By Hochschule Bremerhaven

The consortium of the FLEXI-GREEN FUELS project enjoyed a fruitful face-to-face meeting on 28th and 29th of March in Thessaloniki, Greece. The meeting was hosted by our partner of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The main focus of the last project months has been in the organosolv fractionation of lignocellulosic biomass, the hydrolysis of the organic fraction of municipal solid waste and lignocellulosic biomass and in the catalytic processing of the conversion technology.

The new insights and results were shared with the consortium in order to overcome hurdles and get one step closer towards finding suited drop-in aviation and marine fuels.

Besides the scientific agenda, the FLEXI-GREEN FUELS team was able to visit the Archeological Museum in Thessaloniki and gain historiacal insights on the city.
